Hey everyone! Hope you are all well :) I guess nobody was interested in q&a with tiffeny, so think i'll scrap it lol. I just want to try to get some weekly features going and so i know what my readers would like to see i have started a poll. It's on the left hand side of my blog, please vote :)

Obviously i will continue to do beauty reviews, but now i have the poll results in i think i will also review other stuff too. People seem to be interested in hair, books, music, films, food and places so look out for reviews on these in the future :)

Advent Calender & 30 Day Beauty Challenge

I'm a winner/latest in beauty/beauty challenge!

Afternoon sugar plums! The postman has just been & i'm rather chuffed with what i recieved :) A few days ago i won 3rd prize in a giveaway that rachel over at life of a sweetaholic was holding. I can't believe how quickly it came! The prize was a lovely little french manicure set :) Imagine my suprise when i opened up the package and rachel had also kindly put in some choccies and a christmas card! The manicure set and choccies were wrapped in christmas paper too. Thankyou so much hun, i love my prizes ♥

A few days ago i signed up to latest in beauty, not sure if you have heard of it. Basically you pay £1 from your mobile phone and they send you 3 samples of your choice. I've never had the glossy box or anything similar, but decided to give this a go. I must say i'm quite impressed. The samples came in a pretty pink box, with a letter explaining which samples were for what etc. I recieved exactly what i asked for - nicky clarke shampoo & conditioner (which only counts as 1 sample!), skin doctors eye tuck (they sent me 2!) and a hugo boss sample for my fiance to try (can leave him feeling left out can we!) Along with a few leaflets about the companies the product samples are by, i also got 20% off nicky clarke products!! The only catch is you must review what you recieved on thier website before you can order another box, but i quite enjoy writing reviews anyway :) Not bad for £1 eh?!

Advent Calender/Klorane Review/Beauty Challenge!

Hello my darlings! All well i hope :) I've had a pretty good weekend so far, been flat sitting with my fiance ♥ Only 5 days left till my birthday too! :) Thanks to everyone who has voted in my poll so far, if you haven't you can find it on the left hand side of my blog and if you haven't already entered my giveaway check it out here! Looking forward to the #bbloggers chat on twitter tonight, see you all there ;)

Now on to my completely unrelated review :p

Klorane are a plant-based hair care brand. They sent me a couple of samples to try out, so i decided to review them. Thier website tells you all about the history of the company and what thier mission is etc, so check it out here if you're interested.

Chamomile Shampoo & Conditioner

The shampoo came in a cute little bottle and i didn't even need to use half of it, so the company sent me a very fair amount. The shampoo smells very strongly of chamomile, but it's not unpleasant. It had a similar consistancy to johnson's baby shampoo and was okay to use. Just a bog-standard shampoo really.

Rate - 5/10

According to klorane the conditioner is supposed to be great for damaged hair, but i have damaged hair and i can honestly say this is the worst conditioner i have ever tried. The conditioner was way too thick (more like a hair mask) and the only difference it made to my hair was it made it feel dry and left it in a tangled mess.

Rate - 1/10

Maybe if i had blonde hair these would have worked better for me, but i don't and i'm not impressed by these products.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree! x

Morning you gorgeous lot! Hope you're all well :) I had a lovely afternoon putting the christmas tree up with my parents yesterday. I've not smiled like that in quite a while, i am well and truly in the christmas spirit :)  Normally i get bored within 5 mins of starting to put the tree up, but this year i didn't. I think it looks beautiful ♥

Anyways i bet you can't wait to see what i got in my advent calender today, so without further ado ...

This is me in like spring/summer 2010. Since then i have put tons of weight on, had my hair cut alot shorter & i think i've grown up quite abit too.

I have learned that friends do not have to be people you see everyday or even be people you have met. I have come across so many great people in the last month through blogging it's unbelievable.
